The LarsenB LR9 HDPE is a high-capacity safari and passenger experience boat built for commercial tour operators, water taxi services, and adventure businesses. Its defining concept is simple: put your guests at the front. All 20 passengers sit forward of the captain, open to the water, the wind, and the energy of the ride. The two-person crew operates from a protected cabin at the stern, keeping a full view of both passengers and the route ahead.

Built in HDPE rather than the original aluminium, the LR9 retains the same empty weight — HDPE’s strength-to-weight ratio means the hull plates are three times thicker than aluminium while still matching it on weight, resulting in a structure that is more impact-resistant, fully corrosion-proof, and maintenance-free without ever needing paint. The shallow 0.33 m draft and optional engine lift system mean the LR9 can operate in very low waters and land on difficult shorelines without hesitation.
